Sabian Compri is a 19-year-old mezzo-soprano who hails from Alberta. She is entering her 2nd year at the University of Toronto in the Voice Performance program studying with Lorna MacDonald. In 2014, she competed as part of Cantilon Chamber Choir in the Béla Bartók International Choral Competition held in Hungary. Sabian adores cooking and walking her dog Figaro, as well as spending time with her eight younger sisters. She has a passion for being involved in the community and volunteers with a young children’s choir. Sabian is delighted to be a part of Unexpectedly Opera’s new production.
